After a one-year pause, “Yards, Barns and Brews” returned strongly over the weekend, proving that there was, indeed, something for everyone.
The two-day event at the St. Joseph County fairgrounds got off to a tepid start Friday, but was in full force early Saturday. The fair-sponsored rummage sale at Fred Henningsen Show Arena and additional barns were a major draw.
“Yards, Barns and Brews,” presented by St. Joseph County United Way, was canceled in 2020, after a notable debut in 2019. With the exception of the garage sale, all proceeds benefit the agency.
At the garage sale, Lisa Hawkins of Three Rivers had an abundance of items she wanted to sell, due to a recent downsizing.
