After fatal SRP tunnel accident, more traffic signage mulled

A CEBU CITY official has seen the need to install more traffic signage at the South Road Properties (SRP) and its subway, where a road incident during a heavy rainfall on Thursday night, Dec. 10, 2020, killed a woman who was about to get married.
This is a way to remind motorists to be disciplined in their driving, and they must always follow traffic rules, said Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) officer-in-charge Ramil Ayuman.
Ayuman also saw the need to regularly monitor the tunnel. To achieve this, he said the CDRRMO will conduct a coordination meeting next week with representatives from the SRP management, the Department of Public Works and Highways and the Cebu City Transportation Office.
