Share Updated: 7:10 AM CDT May 5, 2021 Hide Transcript Show Transcript Yeah paul, well here in Van Buren, most students get to choose between any person and virtual learning today, but like here at butterfield Trail Middle School, students at Central and King Elementary's are still without power. So they will have to be remote today. Many roads here in Van Buren as well still aren't passable, so those district school buses won't be running. And even though all alma schools have power, the district is remote today. Their website says it's because they recognize lots of students may not have power themselves or might not be able to get to school. We understand that and we will certainly work with those families and do whatever we need to do to help them and to certainly be sure that they're able to take care of any schoolwork they may have missed.
