After the government issued a notification on Thursday, stating that Professor Rajul K Gajjar has been appointed as the vice-chancellor (V-C) of Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad – the state's biggest technical university – Gajjar was seen taking charge as the V-C the very next day.
