With more active cases going up with each passing day, it reported its single-highest jump in Covid cases in 2021 on Monday. Ahmedabad, meanwhile, has contributed significantly to the active cases with 205 more positive cases. With this, the mark of 200 was crossed after a long gap of 83 days. Not only in Ahmedabad, but many other prominent cities -- of other major states -- have also seen a rise in cases as people have not been following the social distancing norms and other COVID protocols.
