Coursera, the U.S. edutech platform, experienced a surge in users enrolling in its artificial intelligence courses in 2023, with a new user joining every minute on average. CEO Jeff Maggioncalda highlighted the growing interest in generative AI and mentioned Coursera's collaboration with frontrunners in the field such as OpenAI and Google's DeepMind.
