Airdrie is now home to a second rooftop solar field that has been installed above the new transit facility.
On Feb. 11, the City of Airdrie and ENMAX made the announcement about the project’s completion.

“Airdrie is proud to be a leader in solar infrastructure in Canadian municipalities,” said Mayor Peter Brown.
“This project aligns with our sustainability plan and shows what we can accomplish when different levels of government work together with forward-thinking organizations, like ENMAX.”
