Albany County announces new mobile vaccination partnership with CDPHP

ALBANY, N.Y. — During his Friday morning press briefing, Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy continued the push to find more creative ways to get additional people vaccinated.
As of Thursday, 53.2% of Albany County's population has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, 40% have been fully vaccinated. The statewide rate is 45.6% for the first dose and the full vaccination rate at 33.4%.
In total, Albany County has administered or reallocated 57,497 first and second doses of the vaccine to date.

"So we've been talking about this, we've been going back and forth and we've got to reimagine how we're getting the vaccine out to people, trying to engage that certain population now that has the vaccine hesitation or doesn't want to receive the shot. So we're going to be coming up with a lot of different ideas and initiatives," McCoy remarked on attempting to craft incentives for people to become vaccinated.
