After counting absentee ballots, Sergio Adams maintained a lead over Violetta DeRosa, 253 to 240 votes. Former county legislator Brian Scavo had 55 votes. The Albany County Board of Elections will do a manual recount because the margin between Adams and DeRosa is so narrow.
