Premier Jason Kenney said Monday the province was pausing first dose appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine and pushing back the rollout to First Nations and general population seniors as a result of its supply running out.

Alberta is pausing the scheduling of first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and putting future rollout plans on hold due to a lack of supply.
Premier Jason Kenney said Monday the province would have no more vaccines in storage to administer as first doses by early Tuesday. However, it will continue to administer second doses to those who have appointments.
