STAFF REPORTER GUWAHATI: The AIUDF (All India United Democratic Front) candidates for the recently held Assembly election in the State and a few of their Congress counterparts returned to the State from Rajasthan on Friday. They had left for Rajasthan on April 9, 2021. They were in a hotel at Jaipur. The candidates differ in their statements on 'why they had to leave for Rajasthan'. AIUDF's organizational general secretary and Mankachar candidate Aminul Islam said, "The BJP has the habit of laying traps for horse-trading. They did it in Manipur, Meghalaya, Goa and a few other States. They may try this game to trap us. Such a bid from the ruling party can't be ruled out. That led us to leave for Rajasthan.
