All Port Huron students go to remote learning Friday All Port Huron Schools students will be going to remote learning beginning Friday. "As you may know, the spread of COVID-19 is rampant in St. Clair County, and unfortunately the county is a 'hot-spot' both in the State of Michigan and nationally," Superintendent Jamie Cain said in a letter to families Wednesday. "Our district tried to slow the spread by moving our secondary students to virtual learning and providing free testing last weekend, but are not getting the results we hoped for." Port Huron's high and middle schools have been virtual since mid-March due to rising COVID-19 cases.
