ALPENA–After a solid season under first-year coach Matt Kowalski, the Alpena High wrestling team had four wrestlers recently honored by the Big North Conference. Austin Bush, Declan Genova and Cameron Kubbe all earned first team all-conference honors and Mason Bray was named to the second team. Bush (125 pounds), Genova (145) and Bray (160) all qualified for the Division 2 state finals, giving Alpena representation in the finals for the first time since 2014.
