Altercation at BC campsite leads to stabbing The RCMP is investigating an altercation at Golden Ears Provincial Park this week that led to a 23-year-old man getting stabbed. Officers were called to the park’s North Beach campground around 5:45 pm on Wednesday. “A man and his family became engaged in a verbal argument with a group of five men at a nearby campsite,” explained an RCMP release. “The incident escalated and became physical, resulting in a twenty-three-year-old man being stabbed twice.” The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the five suspect men, who the RCMP said were not registered campers, quickly fled the scene.
