(WBTV) - A First Alert is in effect today as waves of rain move through the WBTV viewing area on the first of day of 2021. While the rain is the big weather story of the day, low visibility is the main issue this morning especially across the Piedmont and the Foothills. Currently, a Dense Fog Adversary is effect until 8 a.m. today for the entire area with exception of the Mountains where bands of rain are moving in from the west.
