Amazon Data Services India has signed a long-term lease for four acres of land in Mumbai's Powai suburb from Larsen & Toubro to build a data center. It will pay over Rs 562 crore in rent and has agreed to increase the rent by 3 per cent each year. Amazon has already paid Rs 2.4 crore as a security deposit.
