AMD Radeon cards with 3D V-Cache may become a reality as Nav

Back in August 2022, rumors were swirling that AMD was developing RDNA 3 GPUs with 3D V-Cache. However, the RX 7900 XT/XTX launched without a stacked cache. As it now turns out, it looks like Navi 31 GPU featured inside the RX 7900 cards does appear to have a site for 3D V-Cache on board according to Tom Wassick’s findings.
