As per the roadmap and @Broly_X1, the Ryzen 8000 series APUs will follow Intel’s approach to mainstream processors and feature a hybrid architecture based on two core architectures: Zen 5 and Zen 4D. HXL believes that the Zen 5 core architecture will be employed on big cores, while Zen 4D will be used on small cores. It was also claimed that desktop variants may not be hybrid, but they still should use Zen 5 cores, which will be based on TSMC’s 3nm node. KitGuru says: As any rumour, it’s better to take all of this with a pinch of salt. It will take some time before AMD uses these architectures in any product, so changes to some of their specifications are expected.
