Representational image  |  Photo Credit: BCCL Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): Voting for the third phase of gram panchayat elections is underway in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday to elect 2,639 sarpanch and 19,553 ward members. Polling began at 6.30 am and will conclude at 3.30 pm. The counting is slated to begin at 4 pm. According to the Election Commission, the polling is being held at 26,851 polling stations, of which 4,118 have been identified as sensitive, while 3,127 have been identified as hypersensitive stations. 1,977 polling stations have been categorised as Naxal-affected stations.
