The second one-day international between Ireland and the UAE, due to start this morning in Abu Dhabi, has been put back 48 hours because of positive Covid tests in the UAE camp. The first game on Friday, which the hosts won by six wickets, went ahead despite reports of two players testing positive - they remain in self-isolation - but yesterday the Emirates Cricket Board advised that a further UAE player had tested positive and Cricket Ireland agreed that today's game should be postponed. The plans are for the series to continue, with the third and fourth games to be played on Thursday and Saturday.
