'Dangerous' woman accused of Kinnear hand grenade plot denied bail

An Elsies River woman, accused of being part of a hand grenade plot against the late Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) detective, Charl Kinnear, was denied bail.
The case against Amaal Jantjies, her boyfriend, Janick Adonis, and Faaez Smith forms part of the labyrinth of charges in a massive case the State is building around an alleged racketeering enterprise run by alleged underworld kingpin, Nafiz Modack.
The trio allegedly conspired as members of the Junky Funky Kids gang to throw a hand grenade at Kinnear's home in Bishop Lavis in November 2019.
