The Association for PRINT Technologies (APTech) is delighted to support the recently developed Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA), announced February 22, 2021. The coalition was established to address the prevalence of disinformation, misinformation and online content fraud by developing technical standards for certifying the source and history or provenance of media content. As a much-respected technical standards organization, APTech will serve as the administrator of the C2PA technical working group(s). These groups will include industry experts who will write the requirements and workflows for technical specifications.
