Aravalli Rejuvenation Board formed to curb illegal mining in Aravallis

A seven-member team called the Aravalli Rejuvenation Board has been formed in Gurugram to curb illegal mining in the protected Aravallis region. The team will strengthen infrastructure, install CCTV cameras, deploy drones, and build jogging and cycling tracks to deter illegal miners. The team will also focus on preserving the flora and fauna of the region and ensure proper coordination between different departments and agencies. Additionally, a dedicated police station has been established to take action on cases related to illegal mining and other illegal activities.
