The Connaught & District Historical Society was able to obtain a few artifacts before the old United Church in Connaught was demolished last summer. The church, which had been shuttered since the 1960s, was nearly a century old. Rheal Dupuis, president of the historical society, seen here standing next to the pulpit that was retrieved from the old church, said some work is needed before the display will be ready for public viewing. The Pioneer Museum is presently closed but Dupuis is hoping they can open later this month for the remainder of the summer. RON GRECH/The Daily Press jpg, TD
