An unknown person or group vandalized the installation with blue paint and spray paint, scrawling the words “stop gentrification” on both the artwork and the sign detailing the lot’s proposed development mounted by the City of Kingston on the chain-link fence surrounding the property.
“Every slated lot has a previous story” is one of 16 installations temporarily hosted by the Skeleton Park Arts Festival in its Next Door exhibition.
