謹慎の前田大然に「教えられた」 美談ではない高校時代

チームのために走る。サッカー東京オリンピック（五輪）代表FW前田大然（23）=横浜F・マリノス=の持ち味は献身的なプレーだ。その原点は山梨学院高時代にある。謹慎処分からプロ入りへ――。当時の恩師で現在アルビレックス新潟シンガポール・テクニカルダイレクターの吉永一明さん（53）が激動の日々について語った。
大然から届いた「贈り物」
「今の僕があるのは吉永さんのおかげです。本当にありがとうございます」
吉永さんが初めて前田に会ったのは2012年夏。監督として率いていた山梨学院高が大阪に遠征した時だった。
吉永さんは事態を重く受け止めた。他の職員とも話し合い、前田には部活参加禁止の処分を下した。
