In previous verses, Revelation 17:18 and verses following, the great city Babylon is spoken of here. After extensive reading, we see that these systems or this system will fall rapidly Revelation 18:8 speaks of destruction in one day (plagues, death mourning, famine, Babylon will be burned in one day!
