Assam, Arunachal to Get Additional Central Assistance of Rs 513 Cr for Floods, Landslides of 2020
A total of Rs 1,751.05 crore has been approved for five states who suffered in 2020 due to floods, lanslides and hail-storms under the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF)

New Delhi: The Centre has approved Rs 437.15 crore for Assam and Rs. 75.86 crore for Arunachal Pradesh as part of Central assistance being extended to five states affected by floods and landslides in 2020.
A total of Rs 1,751.05 crore have been cleared as additional Central assistance to five - Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh. The money has been sanctioned from the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF).
