The Class 12 exam was scheduled for February-March. However, as per the directive of the state government in view of the state elections, it was rescheduled to May 11 GUWAHATI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on Monday announced promotion of all registered Class 11 examinees without exams because of the pandemic. Last year, too, the Class 11 exam could not be held in the state due to Covid-19. In a notification issued by AHSEC controller of examinations, Pankaj Borthakur, stated that the higher secondary first year (Class 11) examination has been cancelled. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to start from May 4 but was postponed by the board fearing virus infection.
