Contacte al anunciante University of Southern California USC Sol Price School of Public Policy Department of Urban Planning and Spatial Analysis Faculty Position: Associate or Full Professor Position Descriptions and Qualifications: The University of Southern California's Price School of Public Policy invites nominations and applications for a Professor (at the Associate or Full rank) in the Department of Urban Planning and Spatial Analysis. We are seeking a distinguished academic to contribute to the overall mission of the Price School of Public Policy. The successful candidate is expected to take a leadership role in both the Price School and the METRANS Transportation Consortium. We are particularly interested in finding a collaborative colleague who will expand the School's existing strengths in transportation planning and policy. The specific area of specialization is open. Applicants are encouraged from a broad range of disciplines (e.g., urban planning, public policy, spatial science, engineering) with a demonstrated capacity to integrate methods and insights across disciplinary boundaries. The position may be fully within the Price School or joint with a department in the Viterbi School of Engineering, depending on area of specialization. The ideal applicant will have a doctoral degree; will be a recognized intellectual leader within the field; have a large and diverse network of relationships with public agencies, policymakers, and industry; have management experience; a demonstrated capacity in multidisciplinary research partnerships; a large and diversified portfolio of funded research; capacity for fundraising; and ability to provide strong and visionary leadership for the METRANS Transportation Consortium.
