By Victor Omondi On Thursday, Walmart and Sam’s Club announced that they’re selling Covid-19 test collection kits online, both nasal swab and saliva testing kits. Though saliva tests have not been formally approved by the Food and Drug Administration, the agency did accept them for emergency use during the pandemic. According to experts, and as reported on McClatchy News, they are equally as precise as nasal swabs. According to Lori flees, the Senior Vice president and COO of Walmart U.S. Health and Wellness, the two retailers have endeavored to make shopping as smooth for their customers in the best way possible by providing them with options throughout the pandemic. “Now, we’re applying that same lens to how we can provide access to COVID-19 testing to as many people as possible in ways that best align with their needs.” She added.
