Attend Hospital Appointments As Normal But Some Restrictions

Outpatients should attend hospital appointments as normal
but some restrictions on hospital visitors will apply as the
Bay of Plenty goes into Alert Level 2.
With cases of
COVID-19 identified in the Auckland community, the Bay of
Plenty has been moved to Alert Level 2 but there is no
disruption to hospital services.
“Anyone with an
Outpatients Appointment should attend as normal,” said Bay
of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB) Incident Controller
Karen Smith. “Entry to the hospitals is only through the
front entrances and you will be asked to sign in using the
COVID-19 QR Code or fill in a tracing
