By Crystal McGough PINSON — Former Pinson Valley High School football legend and current Auburn University quarterback Bo Nix will be returning to his hometown this month to host his first quarterback camp, “QB Elevate by Nix.” “I’m proud to say that he decided, along with his family … to bring that camp to Pinson, to Bo’s home school,” Pinson Mayor Joe Cochran said during the July 15 Pinson City Council meeting. “They could have had it at Hoover or any number of places that would’ve perhaps been easier for people to get to, but I’m glad they’re bringing it to Pinson.
