Audi SA has released details on the facelifted RS5 and RS4 Avant performance cars.
Both retain the melodious 2,9-litre V6 engine (also used in the S6), producing 331 kW of power and 600 Nm of torque. The RS4 and RS5 make use of an eight-speed automatic gearbox, with quattro all-wheel drive. Audi claims a 0-100 km/h time of just 3,9 seconds.
The RS5 retains the Coupé styling, with the added benefit of two extra doors.
The two performance vehicles feature a redesigned front end, with a wider grille – like many of the bigger Audi RS models. Redesigned headlamps give the RS4 and RS5 a more aggressive look. While the Matrix LED headlamps are standard on the RS5 Coupe and Sportback, it remains optional on the RS4.
