Auto drivers across the city have been having a
tough time ferrying
passengers to and from railway and bus stations. Drivers say cops are coming down heavily on them for stepping out during the lockdown and say that despite showing proof in the form of tickets, they are harassed and even assaulted by the cops at times.
Irfhan Khan, an autorickshaw driver from Nagawara, said the Begur police took his vehicle to the police station though he had shown them a railway passenger ticket.
