Bahrain iGA meeting discusses $3.4m procurement requests MANAMA, January 6, 2021 Bahrain's Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) discussed BD1.3 million ($3.4 million) worth of strategic projects and procurement requests by government entities - including an initiative to modernize the television archives at the Ministry of Information Affairs and upgrade its media archiving system through modern management and classification technologies - at the 40th Information and Communication Technology Governance Committee (ICTGC) meeting.
The e-meeting, which was chaired by iGA Chief Executive Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, began with the members unanimously electing Dr Zakaria Ahmed Al Khaja, the Deputy Chief Executive at iGA, as the deputy chairperson of the committee.
