This makes it at least ₹8,237 cheaper than BS6 Platina 100 ES (electric start) variant that was launched in January this year. As the name suggests, the Platina KS gets a kick start system instead of an electric start system. This difference makes the newly launched significantly cheaper as compared to the ES variant, thereby making the Platina 100 range more accessible for customers. Besides the kick start system, the entry-level Bajaj commuter also gets tubeless tyres, Nitrox suspension, and a few cosmetic tweaks.
