We're talking about those sparkling devices you can get at stores like Walmart and those pop-up shops around the 4th of July. Barnhart says it's a safety hazard,she also claims it diminishes the quality of life for everyone, especially veterans, children, and pets. Neighbors in the Rochester area raised concerns over an increase in the devices over the summer. The issue caught the eye of Governor Cuomo, who, at the time, called on State Police to investigate.
