FAIRHAVEN – The first cannabis operator for adult-use retail will be opening on Pequod Road Saturday. If you’re planning to shop, or run errands on Alden Road, prepare for a busy weekend of traffic. Bask, a veteran and women-led shop, promotes over 15 unique strands of cannabis and has an exclusive line of infused products, according to its press release. Products include Harpoon Extracts, Howl’s Tincture and the recently launched 1906 “Drops.” “As the first medical dispensary to open on the SouthCoast we’ve learned so much while serving the medical cannabis community for the last three years,” says JoAnne Leppanen, Bask’s director of Patient Education in the press release. “Now, as we expand to adult-use operations, we will be providing adults, 21 years and older, with safe access to cannabis and our cannabis education services.”
