Battle Creek minority groups unite with eye toward systemic

Representatives of the Black, Burmese and Latino communities in Battle Creek announced a plan to work together for equity and prosperity. The collaboration was named The Village and seeks to break down barriers and create access to industry, food, education, health, wellness, personal growth and advocacy for Black, Burmese, Indigenous and Latino communities in Battle Creek.
