People have been told to get out of an area, 12 kilometre radius around the volcano, but people are still staying in their homes there. Officials today are going to move in and forcibly take people out of this danger zone. At the moment, there are still farmers down below in their rice paddies, and the balinese are still going about their life. Europe is about to introduce this new general Data Protection regulation. Lots of businesses that im working with our spending millions on in fa ct, with our spending millions on in fact, they are estimating that about 7 billion is going to have to be spent in the next couple of years, just being compliant with these regulations. This probe of uber is another example of european authorities really looking hard at some of those us tech firms. What is interesting as well about this eu body is the fact they are bringing together lots of Different Countries within europe. It is a europe wide attack on this. Whereas i guess National Governments will be looking at independently as well. There is a co ordinated response at a european level. The interesting thing for me though is whether or not this is going to turn into a battle between european regulators and us regulators. We have seen that with other Tech Companies that i wont mention here, whether or not europe takes the same path that the american authorities were also investigating uber as well, and i think the asian authorities are starting to look at whether or not they both take the same path or not, thats the interesting question for me. She was named successor by the outgoing director. But a few hours later, donald trump intervened and handed the job to Mick Mulvaney instead. Director mulvaney has ta ken charge of that agency. And he has the full cooperation of the staff, and appeared there this morning, and things went very well on his first day. Both Leandra English and Mick Mulvaney release statements to staff indicating they are in charge. Mulvaney has since sent a memo to staff asking them to disregard emails from Leandra English and inviting them to his office for a doughnut. Ajudge is now examining the case. But scientists are worried that millions of americans in other parts of the country are also being poisoned by the water in their homes, but simply dont know it. In fact, water has been found to contain even more poisonous lead levels than in flint in dozens of towns around the country, and it is happening, like it did in flint, because of money. We have not accepted in this country that water, affordable, safe drinking water, is a basic human right. And, if you cant afford to get clean, safe water, thats just your tough luck. The mayor of flint says he was told the water in his city was ok because the state wanted to save money. So we needed to do more, i needed to do more, at the local level, to bring in independent expertise, people who didnt have an adherence to these old standards. And families have toxic water most in communities where so many dont have a voice. Flint is poor. We didnt matter. And it destroyed every flint resident. Youre looking at your kid go through this, or your spouse, or 100,000 people, and knowing that none of them matter enough. Yeah, thats really hard to take. But he also controversially pushed to change the constitution to be allowed to stand for re election in the first place, something that many voters have rejected at the polls. Cold northerly winds right across the country, bringing a mixture of clear spells at some sunshine and some showers as well. And weather showers have been falling through the night across a good part of scotla nd the night across a good part of scotland particular, there is the risk of some icy stretches on untreated roads and pavements. The showers continue through the morning, particularly across northern and eastern parts of scotland. Some of these showers will be wintry. Showers in the northern ireland, the risk of some ice here as well, and showers just beginning to get going across the east coast of england. At through north east england, into the midlands, towards the south east, largely dry with some sunshine want the sun comes up in the morning, and for the south west and wales some showers here. And some of the showers will continue through the day, particular for parts of South West Wales and down towards cornwall. But the focus of the showers will be, yes, across parts of ireland, but particularly northern and eastern scotland and the east coast of england, and these showers increasingly over high ground will be turning wintry.
