Whitehall sources say sonia khan was questioned about government leaks by borisjohnsons senior adviser, Dominic Cummings. Another twist in the drama of politics at the moment. A row right at the heart of Boris Johnsons government after more details of the dramatic sacking of sonia khan, an advisor to sajid javid, emerged last night. She was escorted out of downing street on thursday evening following her summary thursday evening following her summary dismissal and the removal of her security clearance. She had faced questioning by borisjohnsons Senior AdvisorDominic Cummings about government lea ks though Senior AdvisorDominic Cummings about government leaks though as you say there is no evidence she had in fact leaked sensitive government information. It is now emerged that sajid javid, who had not been told about the sacking in advance, had a Heated Exchange with borisjohnson with a source saying he had voiced his anger to the Prime Minister. Now it has also been described as an unhelpful political row as one source but the sources of the two men generally enjoyed a close political relationship. All of this comes ahead of a turbulent week in politics as mps opposed to mr Johnsons Brexit strategy are at attempt to legislate at breakneck speed to block the no deal brexit which mrjohnson says he will pursue if you cannot Reach Agreement with the eu by october 31. The room for manoeuvre, the mps opposing the no deal brexit, has been significantly reduced by mr johnsons decision to suspend Parliament Just days after mps returned from their summer break this week. Meanwhile, the chancellor says hell announce £400 million of additional funding for colleges offering Vocational Training for 16 to 18 year olds in england. Sajid javid says the money, for the year 2020 to 2021, will support the introduction of new t level qualifications next year. A government review earlier this year found that £1 billion of Capital Investment was needed for further education colleges. The education secretary Gavin Williamson said todays announcement is a significant boost. And it is a significant increase in terms of the amount of funding that all six forms and further education establishments will be having and it will be making sure that we have got the right skills for our young people to equip them for future generations. And we will have some reaction to that throughout the programme this morning. The Charity Samaritans is being criticised for entering into a year Long Partnership with a gambling company. Staff at Paddy Power Betfair chose samaritans as their charity of the year and are supporting it through fundraising, corporate donations and volunteering. Critics say samaritans shouldnt work with the gambling industry. Dan whitworth, from radio 4s money Box Programme, has more. Jack dorsey, the co founder and chief executive of twitter, has had his own account taken over by hackers. His account jack was used to post a string of racist remarks. Twitter says its systems are secure and a separate mobile network was to blame. Our north America Technology reporter dave lee has more. Of all the people you would expect to have a secure twitter account, it is this man, the co founder and chief executive of twitter, jack dorsey. And yet for around 15 minutes on friday, a flurry of tweets appeared on his profile. Which is followed more more than 4 Million People. The tweets contained highly offensive, racist and anti semitic slurs. But twitter insisted there was no evidence that its own systems had been compromised. This allowed an unauthorised person to compose and send tweets via text message from the phone number, twitter said. Without naming the mobile network involved, adding that issue is now resolved. The group behind the attack calls itself the chuckling squad and has claimed a number of high profile account hacks on twitter this past year.
