Where president Volodymyr Zelensky says a russian guided bomb has hit a Blood Transfusion Centre in the north east, causing casualties. He says rescuers are at the scene in the town of kupiansk where there are dead and wounded. The reported strike came shortly after kyiv said missiles had hit a facility which manufactures engines for aircraft and helicopters in the countrys west. In a tweet, president zelensky said so far, theres been no comment from russia. Our ukraine correspondent, James Waterhouse is in kyiv. If there is accuracy to president zelensky s claim, it appears once again a medical building has come in harms way. Weve seen it before with a Maternity Hospital in the besieged city of Mariupol Last year. Weve seen it in a Mental Health hospital in dnipro just a few months ago. This is a war that is synonymous with civilian areas, with cities being directly targeted. Now, in president zelensky s tweet, he says, this war crime alone says everything about russian aggression. He says defeating terrorists is a matter of honour for everyone who values life. Now, this is typical rhetoric you get from president zelensky as he tries to boost his countrys morale under this sustained kind of attack. Were told there are dead and wounded, but we dont know much outside of president zelensky s tweet. That was James Waterhouse. Separately, ukraines airforce has said it has destroyed 30 out of a0 russian Cruise Missiles and 27 drones overnight. It also said russia had launched three Kinzhal Hypersonic missiles, without disclosing any details. And moscows city mayor says a hostile drone was destroyed by air defences as it approached the city on sunday. Senior officials from some a0 countries including the us, china and india have gathered there to try to find a peaceful settlement, though russia has not been invited to take part. Our middle east correspondent Sameer Hashmi has the latest from dubai. Stock started on saturday and it continues on day two. But the real objective of these stocks is not to find any solution, talks is not to find any solution, but rather to build a consensus around ukraines ten piece point, a point piece formula, which has been presented by president zelensky. Now, what is interesting from ukraines point of view, or rather a positive thing for them, is that this meeting has been attended even by those countries which have until now adopted a neutral stance in this war or have close ties with russia. So countries like saudi arabia, india, turkey and china, and they have decided to come and be part of this discussion. So what eventually the ukrainian officials are hoping is that by the end of the meeting, there would be some consensus where all the parties would agree. And then president zelensky is hoping to host World Leaders later this year. And these points which are agreed upon, can be discussed further. So this is a step towards arriving on some sort of a consensus or a peace solution, but i dont think anyones expecting that there would be a solution that will come out of these talks instantly. That was Sameer Hashmi. Let me take you live to portugal where on the final day of the popes visit to the country, hes celebrating an open air mass before a huge crowd at a Riverside Park in the capital lisbon. This is just this isjust one this is just one of the live shots of the capital, lisbon. We are zooming in to see some of those who have been following pope francis. We have been following pope francis. We have the Swiss Flag Flying there. So many pilgrims from across the world have travelled to portugal. This is part of World Youth Day. The Service Brings World Youth Day the largest event organised by the Catholic Church to a close. On saturday night 1. 5 million pilgrims joined the pope at a vigil. It isa it is a week long event. They have travelled to hear what pope francis has to say. You can see the crowds walking along the highway. I believe that his trip is about to come to a close, and yes, it is hot, very hot. Estimated temperature is are set to hit 40, 40 one celsius. We have heard from some of those people on the heat, they have said that it was worth it. They said that they managed to find shade. And, you can probably see some of the facilities there that have been laid on for people travelling to portugal. The venue itself was a special Riverside Park. It was specially built for Pope Franciss trip to portugal. He will be leaving this afternoon, returning back to the vatican. But, throughout his five days, he will be attending a number of events. Live now to lisbon and our correspondent, Alison Roberts whos watching events. In terms of the five days, what would you say has been a highlight . I think the sheer numbers of pilgrims from around the world, and a way that they have really taken over the city of lisbon, quite a lot of locals fled the city in advance. Others stayed and were impressed by the numbers, and the degree of organisation, the scale of it. That is probably something that no city of lisbon pass size, only 500,000s population, could deal with easily. The organisers say that 1. 5 million pilgrims from around the world, many of last minute arrivals, will have been people came from across portugal, perhaps spain as well, a very large number of the pilgrims here are from spain, or indeed from other Spanish Speaking countries. The diversity of crowds, the enthusiasm, many of them have said very openly that this is a pope they feel particularly close to. He does seem to reciprocate praising the energy of youth. And clearly, seeing them as a vehicle for bringing change in an institution that he leads, but which he believes it still needs to change. Estimates, portu~al, still needs to change. Fewer still would be regular attendance at church services. There has been a huge scandal relating to child six abuse, with an independent Commission Publishing in february concluding that more than 4800 children were abused within the church by clerics or by other people involved in the church over the last seven decades. That is something we have seen in other countries, those kinds of the reports and scandals. The hierarchy has also been criticised. Pope francis made a point on his very first day in portugal of talking about are victims of abuse, and how they need to be listened to, and their testimony acted upon. Some saw that as a rebuke to the Portuguese Church here. Others said that they very much welcomed his remarks and that they are working to solve the problem. They are working to solve the roblem. , ~ , they are working to solve the roblem. , ~ ,. Lets go to Southern Pakistan for some Breaking News with reports that a Passenger Train has derailed. Initial reports from local media say at least 15 people are known to have died, and a further 40 are injured. A Railway Official said the Hazara Express was travelling from karachi to abbottabad when the incident happened. Emergency teams have been battling to rescue trapped passengers from the derailed coaches. More on that as and when we get it. Here in the uk, people who were wrongly convicted of crimes will no longer be charged living costs for the time they spent in prison. The Ministry Forjustice is scrapping the rule with immediate effect, following an outcry over the case of a man who spent 17 years in jail for a crime he didnt commit. Joe inwood has the details. There are many shocking things about the case of Andy Malkinson. Ajury misled. Dna evidence suppressed. 17 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. But for many, it was the revelation that Andy Malkinson would have to pay back some of his compensation to cover board and lodgings that was most shocking. The very idea of paying, once youve cleared your name, your captors is really repugnant. The guilty dont pay. Why should the innocent . Thats ridiculous. But from today, that will change. Wrongly convicted prisoners like andy will no longer have to pay towards the cost of their own imprisonment. Yeah, thats very welcome. Very welcome, yeah. Good. Its a step in the right direction but much more needs to be changing, too. You know, you dont want to put just a sticking plaster on something thats, you know, mortally wounded. It needs much more. Theres been a real problem. Sentiments echoed by sir bob neill. He chairs thejustice select committee and had called for this change. When the state makes an error, its right and proper that the state accepts that as swiftly as possible and, secondly, that the state then doesnt try and put needless obstacles in the way of somebody seeking recompense. Key among the obstacles is a new test, introduced in 2014, that means that victims of Miscarriages Ofjustice need to prove their innocence beyond reasonable doubt. That is an extremely difficult l hurdle to meet and that is why hardly anyone is now Getting Compensation any more. Even very serious cases where people have been in prison for murder or rape for years, i for cases which were accepted as Miscarriages Ofjustice, are not meeting this test. Because its so brutal. Its cruel. And it needs to change. For now, andy is surviving on benefits. He says Getting Compensation could take two years and will be kept. They should be making sure that im compensated speedily and also, even the amount is kind of insulting because theyve capped it at ten years. How is that possible, you know . The more time that youve been tortured and held captive wrongfully, the more you should get. They didnt cap my imprisonment but theyll cap the money that theyre obliged to pay in compensation. Cheering and applause. When Andy Malkinson left the court of appeal, his name was finally cleared. His Fight Forjustice has been a long and difficult one. Even with todays announcement, it is not yet over. Joe inwood, bbc news. Here in the uk, social Media Companies are set to crack down on People Smugglers posts that encourage Asylum Seekers to cross the english channel. Struggling for goals, not really playing the football we are used to seeing them play in recent years. Goalless at the moment. Englands lionesses are little over 24 hours away from their last 16 match at the world cup against nigeria. And some good news ahead of that keira walsh has returned to team training. One of the most important players in that team. She suffered a knock in the win over denmark, there were fears it could be a serious knee injury, but she should be fit to play again at the tournament. Both england and australia have the chance to make history in the netball World Cup Final later. England are hoping to win the title for the first time and having beaten new zealand are playing in their first World Cup Final. In contrast australia whove reached every final are looking to win the title for a record extending 12th time. Katharine merry has more from cape town it isa it is a huge final. You know what . England can win this. They had a really dramatic but brilliant semifinal yesterday over new zealand. New zealand, the defending champions. It was always going to be a hard ask after they pick up victory against australia, but they just will not be denied here. They just will not be denied here. They just romped away with that semifinal with relative ease, if im being honest. They got themselves into their first ever World Cup Netball Final today. Australia had a Real Bruising Encounter yesterday against jamaica in their semifinal. So, australia had to work hard yesterday, and had the heart of the semifinals, but in terms of the final, i genuinely think england can win this. Australia, the 11 time world champion, the world number one team, the pressure is not on england. They have already made history, the mindset, the release, the confidence of these england roses, i have never seen anything like it over the last few years for english and apple. This could be the difference today. They could lift the world cup title later. Build up to that final the world cup title later. Build up to that final on the world cup title later. Build up to that final on the the world cup title later. Build up to that final on the bbc the world cup title later. Build up to that final on the bbc sport to that final on the bbc sport website. Many of us started this morning with sunny spells and we continue with those into the afternoon with just some showers developing. That was the scene earlier in somerset, the Cumulus Cloud starting to build and we see the showers developing mainly across scotland and northern ireland, through western england and wales, they could be on the heavy side and perhaps thundery. Still fairly breezy around that north sea coast but that wind will ease and maximum temperatures getting up to 17 19, perhaps 20 degrees. Warmer than it was yesterday with a bit more sunshine around this afternoon. This evening and tonight those showers slowly fade, were looking at clear skies to take us into the early part of monday morning. Temperatures in the countryside could dip low but typically 7 10, maybe 11 degrees first thing monday. Throughout monday its a dry day, this area of High Pressure trying to nudge its way in. One little Weather System to the west will slowly push in later in the day bringing an increase in cloud but for most of us its dry on monday with some sunshine. Some scattered showers mainly in the north of the uk and as i said later on more cloud in parts of south west wales, south west england, temperatures into the high teens to the low 20s. That little Weather System just towards the west will move further eastward as we go through tuesday so there will be more cloud around, maybe some spots of rain likely across england and wales, the best of the sunshine scotland, northern ireland, the far north of england, sunshine later in the day and maximum temperatures on tuesday, high teens to the low 20s. If you are looking for something warmer well start to see it later in the week. By wednesday weve a ridge of High Pressure building from the south west, bringing settled weather and with that a southerly wind. As we go through Late Wednesday into thursday, we see the temperatures increasing, the air being drawn in from the near continent so by thursday temperatures will get up into the mid to high 20s. Only temporary, though, because by friday we see a Weather Front moving through and those temperatures will start to drop again. Thats it from me. Bye bye. This is bbc news.
