May 3, 2021 The National Conservation Commission (NCC) has reminded beach vendors to observe all COVID-19 protocols as they recommence their operations. NCC Special Projects Officer, Ricardo Marshall, encouraged licensed vendors to implement safety precautionary measures to secure the health and protection of clients, beach visitors, in general, and themselves. To this end, as part of their return to work, all beach vendors, whether they operate a food and beverage operation or provide beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, surfboards and similar services to beach-users, are expected to strictly observe the following protocols: • Wash and/or sanitise hands frequently. • Wash, rinse and sanitise food contact surfaces, food preparation surfaces and beverage equipment after use (using a food-grade sanitiser).
