Beaches in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties open Memorial

Ingham County
The Ingham County Parks Department is opening its three beaches – Lake Lansing Park South, Burchfield Park and Hawk Island – on Saturday, May 29 for the season.
The splash pads are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., weather permitting.
Lifeguards will be on duty at the beaches from noon to 8 p.m., staff permitting. The lakes are swim at your own risk when lifeguards are not on duty.
Burchfield Park: 881 Grovenburg Road in Holt
Hawk Island Park: 1601 E. Cavanaugh Road in Lansing
Lake Lansing Park South: 1621 Pike St. in Haslett
Parking is $3 for Ingham County residents and $5 for nonresidents. An annual pass is available for $32 for county residents and $42 for nonresidents.
