Belarusian opposition, human rights activists, hail IIHF decision

Minsk Arena won't be hosting Ice Hockey World Championship games in 2021
After months of lobbying against the plan for Belarus to cohost this year's World Championships the country's opposition and human rights organizations achieved their common goal on Monday evening, when the International Ice Hockey Federation announced that it was moving Minsk's portion of the tournament.
Not surprisingly, opponents of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko are delighted with their victory.
"Justice has been served. The whole international community must understand this," opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya told DW in an exclusive interview late on Tuesday.
