Shares Pupils and staff at Belmont Grosvenor school are hoping to spread some Christmas cheer and share the joy of reading with hundreds of children across the region. The school has donated more than 500 books to Bradford Stories, the literacy campaign from the National Literacy Trust and Bradford Council which aims to improve literacy levels in the city by promoting reading, writing, speaking and listening. The haul of books, ranging from babies’ first picture books, to simple readers, topic books and young teenage novels, will be gifted to children across the Bradford area, through the National Literacy Trust campaign, many of whom don’t own a single book.
