May 27, 2021 Independence Day will look a little different in Beloit this year. Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says the fireworks show will happen at Pohlman Field stadium at Telfer Park instead of Riverside Park. Lock says Riverside Park doesn’t have enough space for people to socially distance during the fireworks show. While the fireworks will be a free event, ticketed reservations will be required to ensure social distancing during the show.
