Bengal crosses 2-million vaccination mark, only behind Rajasthan in inoculation drive in country

Among laudable work by the health authorities in ensuring a significant population in the state receives the jab, two senior citizens died in the state allegedly after being administered COVID vaccine shots.

Amid a rise in COVID cases nationwide, as a result of the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the vaccination drive in India is also under progress. The speed at which the vaccination drive is taking place in India is being lauded by many worldwide. As a result, on Thursday (March 11), West Bengal surpassed the 2-million vaccination mark. With this, it has now taken the second spot nationwide in inoculation drive, being only behind Rajasthan at the moment.
