BFP urges residents to strictly monitor electrical connections

AN OFFICIAL from the Bureau of Fire Protection-Davao Region (BFP-Davao) ordered the strict monitoring of electrical connections within barangays, especially in the slums, after noticing illegal connections in these areas.
BFP-Davao Chief Inspector Alex Pamaybay on Friday, March 12, 2021, said based on the recent fire incidents, these are a result of electrical problems.
Pamaybay said he led in responding to the fire incident in Barangay Duterte in Agdao District on Tuesday, March 9, which affected 1,500 individuals from 300 families. A 68-year-old, who was trapped in the fire incident, died two days after being brought to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).
